New Recognized Employer Pilot Program (REP)
Canada announced the Recognized Employer Pilot, designed to reduce the administrative burden for employers with a strong history of compliance.
The Recognized Employer Pilot (REP) rewards employers with a strong record of compliance by giving them access to simplified Labour Market Impact Assessment processing and longer validity periods.
For candidates, this can mean faster hiring timelines with participating employers, since the employer side of the process becomes more predictable.
Employers must meet specific criteria to qualify, including a history of positive LMIA decisions and adherence to program conditions. We work with both employers and candidates to confirm whether a role can benefit from the pilot.
